Class Excercise 1

This is my “device that enhances your creativity 100 times'”. But I guess it would only work for me. For myself, creativity strikes me when I am in a relaxed and comfortable mood. Also, I tend to let my imagination run wild while listening to my favourite songs or watching my favourite videos. Plus, I’m a full-time fangirl, part-time student, so the idol videos are my mental food and I cannot live without them. So, such a device that lets me watch my videos or listen to my songs would definitely set me in the right mood for creativity. It is also good to keep oneself hydrated, no? As well as the creativity-destroying UV rays, we have to keep that stuff out too, right? Initially, I wanted to add a mini air-conditioner, but thought it would get a little too bulky. Anyway, a short brief point-form description of what this device can do:

  • SMS/Wifi/Bluetooth/Infrared/Radar/Radio
  • Hydration
  • Watch Videos/VR/3D
  • Listen to music with Audio Technica Headphones. Two options: MP3/CD. Also can listen through internet or radio
  • UV protection
  • 10GB RAM, 20TB memory 😛 (this is what you should have expected from a computing student)

Anyway. Something I learnt from the first lecture. I have never really put thought into what the difference is between a designer and an artist. I’ve always felt that they were different, but never really put too much thought into it. Today I see a clear distinction between the two of them. I’m glad I did 🙂 I hope I can learn a lot more from this module as time goes by.
